April Fun

We started the month of April learning about farm animals. We learned about cows,pigs, chickens, and roosters.  The children watched a video of farmers milking cows. Many farm stories were read aloud.









 The children love creating their own art masterpieces!





 Ms. Marsha, the assistant in the church office moved to Ohio. We will miss her and visiting Bubba and Succotash for their feedings.

Milo, our nature boy found a new friend on the playground.





 On a personal note, I am proud to announce my daughter Bronwyn was named the 2019 Valedictorian of LCCDS eighth grade class.

December Fun

December Fun We have had a busy month in the Twos.   The children are continuing to be more independent.  Jackets and sweaters have been a new challenge. I encourage them to put them on independently and hang them on a hook.  Many of them can do this now all by themselves! * Reminder : Please return your art bag ,clean cot sheet,and change of clothes in January. Angels making angels.   Cozy play time The architects came by to take more measurements and the children were very curious about their work. Let's trim the tree! Music Class  Mrs. Shahlani brought her parachute and we sang , "Sleigh Ride". Thank you Mrs. Silvestri for helping us wrap our parent gifts. They are amazing at cleaning up messes like this . Happy New Year!

January is Here! Happy New Year 2019 We are attending Chapel service each Wednesday morning. The children have been to Chapel twice and are learning the songs and improving their listening skills. Winter is here and the children have been learning about snow and snowflakes. Indoor snowball fights have been a big hit! We have also studied various arctic animals.  Polar bears, otters, penguins, and beluga whales to name a few.   A Florida Snowman Reading to a beluga whale is always  fun.
