November Gratefulness Just want to thank you for sharing your children with me! We have been busy this month.  The children have learned so much about Fall. I am hopeful the weather becomes more like Autumn soon.   Tom the Turkey by Timeless Tales Mrs Cummings made pumpkin pie for Mrs. Ewert's birthday!   We read the book Elmer   and made our own Elmer the patchwork elephants. Indian Corn painting using Duplo blocks. We celebrated Ava's third birthday today. We love you , Ava! Happy Birthday!!!!! Thank you to Ava's family for coming to celebrate with us. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving! Please send in a 4 by 6 baby photo of your child by Dec. 1st.

December Fun We have had a busy month in the Twos.   The children are continuing to be more independent.  Jackets and sweaters have been a new challenge. I encourage them to put them on independently and hang them on a hook.  Many of them can do this now all by themselves! * Reminder : Please return your art bag ,clean cot sheet,and change of clothes in January. Angels making angels.   Cozy play time The architects came by to take more measurements and the children were very curious about their work. Let's trim the tree! Music Class  Mrs. Shahlani brought her parachute and we sang , "Sleigh Ride". Thank you Mrs. Silvestri for helping us wrap our parent gifts. They are amazing at cleaning up messes like this . September Is Here The children are adjusting very well. We are busy with most important job, PLAY! Play is the way a child learns what no one else can teach them! Many thanks for returning your child's art bag. More masterpieces to come at the end of September. Dress Up Time Fruit Sorting( Attributes/Classification) Painting our houses for our family board. Puzzle Time  Vivienne loves the dollhouse. Cooking Time The Firetruck is coming to visit LCCDS on Oct.5 Meet Millie the guinea pig! She lives in Mrs. Maxwell's class.
