Mrs. Ewert's Two's Class 2018-19

April Fun We started the month of April learning about farm animals. We learned about cows,pigs, chickens, and roosters.  The children watched a video of farmers milking cows. Many farm stories were read aloud. The children love creating their own art masterpieces! Ms. Marsha, the assistant in the church office moved to Ohio. We will miss her and visiting Bubba and Succotash for their feedings. He Has Risen! Happy Easter Many thanks to Ava and Olivia's Moms for hosting our Easter party. Milo, our nature boy found a new friend on the playground. On a personal note, I am proud to announce my daughter Bronwyn was named the 2019 Valedictorian of LCCDS eighth grade class. 

March News Our Vegetable Garden Our Vegetable Feast Thank you to everyone for helping contribute to our feast! Emotional support puppy Mrs. Silvestri helped us plant lima beans. The children are so excited to watch them grow. Ruthie and the (Not So) Teeny ,Tiny Lie We learned about Ruthie, the fox and her issue with honesty.  This book was one all the children could relate to when Ruthie finds something that doesn't belong to her and tells her teacher it is hers. Stick and Stone This story gives us a new outlook on the saying, Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me.
