Mrs. Ewert's Two's Class 2018-19

Hello October We have been busy learning about each other and  the world around us. The Fire Engine from Station 12 came to visit. Here are some special memories. We also saw our first live performance of "The Gingerbread Boy". Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere! We made pumpkin muffins! Happy Birthday Brock! We love you! A special thank you to Brock's Mom for bringing orange jello and orange pumpkin cookies.

September Is Here The children are adjusting very well. We are busy with most important job, PLAY! Play is the way a child learns what no one else can teach them! Many thanks for returning your child's art bag. More masterpieces to come at the end of September. Dress Up Time Fruit Sorting( Attributes/Classification) Painting our houses for our family board. Puzzle Time  Vivienne loves the dollhouse. Cooking Time The Firetruck is coming to visit LCCDS on Oct.5 Meet Millie the guinea pig! She lives in Mrs. Maxwell's class. New School, New Friends!!!! Today was Day 4 of School and I am already beginning to see the children becoming more confident and aware of our routines. Please send in a 4X6 family photo for our family bulletin board, if you have not already done so.  This Friday  we are making fruit salad!  Yum! Please bring in the assigned fruit below Friday morning: Ava- apples  (2 cups) cut and peeled into bite size pieces Branson- grapes (2 cups) washed and cut in half Brock-(2 cups) strawberries washed and sliced Callie-(2 cups) of sliced bananas Milo-(2 cups) blueberries Olivia-(2cups) oranges sliced into bite size bites Vivienne-(2 cups) kiwi sliced into bite size pieces Thank you for your help!
